Terms and Conditions

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERM AND CONDITIONS

By giving us your shipment, you accept our terms and conditions set out. When you give us the shipment with oral or written instructions that conflict with our terms and conditions we shall not be bound by such instructions.

2. RESTRICTED ITEMS

There shall not be conveyed restricted items such as dangerous, hazardous, combustible, explosive noxious or deleterious materials, gold and silver bullion, coin dust, cyanides or any form of uncoiled gold and silver bullion, platinum and other precious metals, precious and semi-precious stones including commercial carbons or industrial diamonds, jeweller currency of any nationality, travellers’ cheques, indecent or obscene painting, photograph, lithograph, engraving, book or card or any indecent or obscene article, or any prohibited publications, tapes cinematograph films or drugs, poisons items of ultrasonic value, firearms or weapons. In the event any customer should consign such items with QSV Courier, QSV Courier have the right to abandon package immediately upon QSV Courier having knowledge that such item infringes these conditions, or any acts, rules or regulations prevailing in the Republic of Singapore. QSV Courier shall have the right of inspecting any suspicious packaging consigned by its customers to ensure compliance with this clause.

3. WEATHER/TRAFFIC CONDITIONS

QSV Courier services delivery timing may be subject to road conditions. Slight delays in pick up and/or delivery timing may occur during peak periods and eves of public holiday. Bad weather condition may result in delays in pick up and/or delivery timing. In event of such, we will deliver it before end of business hour or next working day.

4. PAYMENT

You agree to pay our charges (including applicable surcharges) for the carriage of the shipment between the locations specified on the consignment note/contract of carriage, or for the performance by us within 7 days from the date of our invoice.

5. WAITING DURATION

In the event whereby a pickup is not successful due to package is not ready during the scheduled pickup timing, the dispatch rider/driver will seek further instructions from the Sender. $5 Surcharge will be imposed if the dispatch rider/driver have to return at a later timing to pickup the parcel. Maximum waiting time of 5 minutes at the Pickup Address after which a minimum $3 for every excess 5 minutes or part thereof will apply.

6. JOB CANCELLATION

Any cancellation 15 minutes upon confirmation and before arrival of dispatch rider/driver arrives at pick up location, 50% of service charge will apply. Any cancellation upon arrival of dispatch rider/driver at pick up location, 100% of service charge will apply.

7. WORK PROCESSING CHARGE

Surcharge of $5 will incur in addition to the above mentioned rates to any jobs which requires processing work for every 15 minutes or part thereof. ( eg. All Government Restricted Areas, Banks, Foreign Embassies, Jurong Island, Sentosa, Airport Cargo Complex)

8. RESTRICTED AREA ENTRY

Authorisation remains the sender’s responsibility. Delays due to security access requirements will not the fault of QSV Couriers.

9. CHANGE OF ADDRESS

In the event there is a change of address due to wrong address given or recipient have moved to another address, double charge will incur for resending to new assigned address.
